A New Look At WMPS During the summer of 2002 upgrades were made throughout the campus. All these upgrades were made by Jim Sena Construction, Kaufman Fire System, The Electric Horseman and King Air Plumbing. These people have worked very hard to make sure that everything met Fire and ADA codes. WMPS received about $3.5 million in matching funds. WMPS also received $1.3 million to remodel the shop and the cafeteria. There are also plans for a commons area. These plans began in January 2003. Upgrades at the elementary included new windows, fire systems, new plumbing, electrical plugs and lights. The auditorium was renovated and an elevator was installed. The whole building is now handicap accessible. The date of completion for these upgrades was set for April 2003. Three Funding sources 1- critical capital outlay 2- Deficiencies Unit 3- SB-9 (two mill levy)
